yes juicy I think you got a lot of good input to be honest no one is going to tell you what to purchase

the link to the pc i gave you will run muvizu and anything else.. it will do the job I would not purchase it though because I likely would need to upgrade it

here is the scoop on cpu's
i3- and i5 are like i7 knockoffs they were created for those who wanted to spend less money. They are okay for office work but I would not play mmorpg's on them or pc games in the newest generation. Anything posted here will of course run muvizu and more. If price is an issue then why a laptop? is there a reason? because right off you can get a pc of the same power posted for half the price of a laptop because of the way they are built.

AMD is likely a better option then i3 or i5 for graphical work these two processors were made for offices where people use wordprocessing software and accounting software.

You have gotten a lot of great input and I dont think anyone is going to be a bit clearer. NO one here is trying to advise just post what they use and had no issue with. In reality the more you can afford to spend the better an investment you will make. Its really up to you at this point. All the solutions posted will work it really is up to you to put together a pc/laptop configuration that you feel you will be happy with.

The best option that is not bleeding edge is i7 with as much ram as you can stuff in it and a brand new graphics card by nvidia probably a 660 or 680 geoforce. Laptops are always going to be more expensive then desktops and always one step behind because of the need to miniaturize things.

There is nothing wrong with the i3 or i5 but they are less powerful then an i7 but they are cheaper

he didnt tell you he preferred an overlocked i3

he said that i7 is more powerful then you need
and an i5 is good enough and preferabble to an overlocked i3

he also didnt provide a link to a laptop as he doesnt use any he gave you a list of good graphics cards to look at on a site that benchmarks them for performance.

You need to slow down and read a bit better

in all cases overlocking is not the best idea its what you do as a last resort out of the two processors other then an i7 he said an i5 is better and as a last resort an overlocked i3

lol my brother won't carry the desktop though urbanlamb ok if I want a laptop that's on par with the link to the desktop you gave me maybe less of hard drive space I don't mind about hard drive space 40gb would be fine and maybe less ram 4gb I'm thinking should be fine right? To run muvizu then what will the sprecs be please or can you at least give me a indication what about a pentium 2.6ghz dual core with Intel hd 3000 graphics but someone said to me if I recall that a integrated card is poor I'm having a long shot guess here

All laptops have integrated cards with a very few exceptions and nothing cheap so any laptop you see online is probably with an integrated card you can't get away from that unless you look at an alienware or custom built laptop . A dual core will run muvizu but if someone is selling one dont buy it well maybe if they sold it for less then a dollar.. its a museum piece pretty much and you can probably pick one up in a junk yard for free. If you offer to carry the dual core to the garbage for them for a charge THEM 5 dollar fee its a better deal

what I am trying to say do I really need a Lenovo that has core i7 and gforce 625m that's cost a Hugh £629 just solely for muvizu

No.

the specs of any machine were like Greek to me basically I was asking which laptop would be decent mid range and not cost the world I know nothing about graphic card 635m and 5460 mean nothing to me...

Then you need to ask your questions on a forum that deals with which is the best laptop. If you ask us, you'll get specs for machines that, as you've said, you don't understand - so why ask?

My simplest advice I can give you is this - ANY PC or laptop made in the last year or so will run Muvizu. How well it will run it is down to price - the more expensive, the better it'll run. Not that this is an issue, as you already stated you're not trying to produce epics here, so stop stressing about it and just buy something so you and your brother can get on with life. Seriously, there is now way anyone here is going to recommend just ONE computer from the tens of thousands of versions available. They will, however, on those forums that deal with, you know, which is the best laptop.

Happy New Year

Here's the one I bought.

HP Pavilion g7z Notebook PC
• winter blue
• Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
• AMD Quad-Core A10-4600M Accelerated Processor (3.2GHz/2.3GHz, 4MB L2 Cache)
• 1GB AMD Radeon(TM) HD 7670M Discrete-Class Graphics
• 8GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
• 750GB 7200RPM Hard Drive
• Microsoft(R) Office Starter: reduced-functionality Word/Excel(R) only, No PowerPoint(R)/Outlook(R)
• No additional security software
• 6-Cell Lithium-Ion Battery
• 17.3-inch diagonal HD BrightView LED-backlit Display (1600 x 900)
• SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-R/RW with Double Layer Support
• HP Webcam with Integrated Digital Microphone
• 802.11b/g/n WLAN and Bluetooth(R)
• Standard Keyboard
• HP Home & Home Office Store in-box envelope

About $900 (American) after shipping, etc.

I'm sorry, but you wont find a laptop for less than $700 (american) that will run Muvizu without driving you crazy. The one I got (above) will run it, if I absolutely have to. But like the others have said already, your best bet using Muvizu is a nice desktop. Perhaps your Muvizu days lie in the future when you can afford a more powerful machine.
At any rate, good luck to you. You may get lucky if you check into purchasing used or refurbished models.
