In all my time I've used Muvizu, I have never used the video joiner, not even to test it. All my videos are actually just clips that I edit using a video editor. I use Corel Avid Pinnacle Studio 15 (there's a mouthful). It is the easiest for me to use because it is very intuitive. But it's not free.

A (fairly) good free editor would be Windows Movie Maker. Power Director is also very popular (not free, but many times bundled with other software) and highly recommended by cNET (but not me).

There have unfortunately been some known issues for some users with the Video Joiner for quite a while - they're definitely issues that we intend to fix, but I'm afraid it's lower priority than incorporating the features people have asked for into the actual Muvizu:Play app at the moment. In the meantime, as pointed-out by bigwally, there's plenty of easily-available software which can provide the same functionality as the Video Joiner. EG you should have Windows Movie Maker already installed as part of Windows - if you open your Start menu and search for "movie maker", it should turn up and it'll do just the trick if you're only looking to stitch together a few clips!

I didnt think I would ever suggest removing a feature before now but I was thinking about this awhile ago haha and video joiner is not reallyl needed. YOu can upload all the raw clips to youtube and use the youtube editor to create a video and it works much better then video joiner. Although I guess if you want to submit to the gallery you need to download the finished product and re-upload. Anyhow along that lines I was thinking that since its never really worked well that maybe it should be removed as to me its almost a 'useless feature' and is likely left over from times past when muvizu was new and trying to go in another direction. Or maybe I should just be quiet because its presence is likely not a huge issue and its probably not making coding in muvizu any harder :/

I agree with Urban, just work on what Muvizu does best, which is animate. We used to get a lot of posts on the Forum asking for things like full audio editing within Muvizu and I always think "please don't waste your dev time doing this". If there are plenty of free or inexpensive programs that do the job brilliantly then just use those.

Also, does anyone else think that the button "Use Video Joiner" looks like it's written in Dutch ?

Just me then.

yes there are tons of tools on the market that are cheap or free that do a better job then the video joiner. The same with audio there are many options for it. There are not however a ton of products or programs on the market that do this type of thing and there are even less that let casual users do it for free (i say casual because hobbyists can be as 'hardcore' as any commercial only operation) so in order to avoid people spending time fixing something that really is not within the actual scope of muvizu why not just take it away. I feel this way about most softwares that do this where people start suggesting post-production and editing features I feel it just clutters up the program takes away valuable memory my pc could use for the actual purpose of the animation software and wastes dev time.

Fine. I lastly give up using this tool after check the post here. I just try an alternative, named Joyoshare Video Joiner. It seems ideal as what I want to merge unlimited number of videos and audios in lossless quality at super fast speed. There're also built-in video editor in it and can do lots of things to meet my needs.
