  • Hi Guys
    Can the environment be changed for each layer??
    When rendering, can the environment (sky, ground) be set to some other value for each layer?

    • The Ground and Sky don't have the layer options, so I wouldn't have thought so... it would be a good feature to have though.

    • No. The Sky and Ground are part of the background layer. When compositing you could always just just different backgrounds behind your layers depending on what you were trying to achieve.

    • Thanks, I played around a little with layers and thought it would be nice, hide/ show sky and/or ground? Kind of an invisible item. Render a layer and no background. I know there are other methods but they a little more involved.

    • Layer choices aren't available in the Ground and Sky, so I wouldn't have guessed it. Having them would be great, however.

  • Hi,
    Will there be a specific post or an Email when a "good" release is available? The download dialog does not have a version so I am not sure if I should download the release.

    • If you download the installer from the site it has the release date in the file name. The Muvizu application should also show a "an update is available" pop-up when the update goes live in the next couple of days. The wiki page is a bit behind though

    • Yesterday's date is now on the installer so I assume there's a new version released alongside the Chinese history pack.

      I guess when I get the new release popup, I should manually look at he install to see the version number. Curious, If there is a buggy release, does Muvizu remove it so we will not get a new release popup?

    • When you see the update message, my advice is always to say 'no', then come here and download the update manually. Install it in a new folder (like \Program Files\Muvizu Play New) and use it in the spirit of adventure, coz it might be broke.

  • Hi Guys,
    New release; I installed it and received 'this feature is not available with your license", I have a paid for Play Plus license - What gives?

    • I did comment this in testing but they must have missed it. Since it's such a widespread issue, I expect a patch will be coming in the next couple of weeks.
