Hi TheCursedJester,

Our Tutorials are a little out of date, as we have recently updated the interface - we are looking to do some new guides once all of the changes are done.

The clothing colour can now be edited in the Appearance section - there is a colour picker on the bottom right of the screen when you select an item of clothing, such as the top or bottoms.

Sorry for any confusion, and if you have any other problems just let us know.

Take care,
-Jim.

I am happy to help - reporting any errors or problems help us out too.

Sometimes the video joiner has an error with larger video files (in size, as well as length) so what size are the videos and what length are they?

If they are short videos you may get more luck recording them in the XVid format before you try to join them. If you do not have it available the K-Lite Codec pack includes it (and is also free): http://www.free-codecs.com/k_lite_codec_pack_download.htm but of course any third party software is used at your own risk .

Take care,
-Jim

Ahh right.
They are quite short videos, the first being about 13 seconds and the other being 31. heh.
I'll see about recording them in the XVid format then and get back to you updating this.

The 13second one is 23.9MB and the 31second one is 46.1MB

- edit
Nope, under the list when I select to make the video there is no XVid format. Since they are produced in the windows media player files I can just edit them with windows movie maker instead. Can still do the same thing there and mess around with a few options too. :]
Thanks again.

Sorry for the late reply, I was watching for a new post so I missed the edit that you made.

WMM can do the same things, but I would just like to check - did you download the basic, standard or full codec pack? XVid only comes with the Full pack so if you downloaded the standard or basic pack it wouldn't show up in Muvizu.

If you downloaded the Full pack and it still isn't showing in Muvizu we will need to look into it further.

No worries. I know you have enough to do without chasing me. Cool
Anyway... I am unsure? I followed this link: http://www.muvizu.com/Information/Download.aspx?userid=7374
and pressed the "download application" link with Size: 478 MB

Im not sure if it was the full or standard pack, probably standard, i just let it download and it had all the features I saw which were new.

Hi again,
I was actually meaning the Full K-Lite Codec pack from http://www.free-codecs.com/k_lite_codec_pack_download.htm

There are 3 different versions - Basic, Standard and Full - Full is the only one with XVid - which is a pretty handy Codec.

Take Care,
