Hi, I have just downloaded Muvizu for the first time and need to log in to the app in order to get access to all of the objects and characters etc. However when i type in my password and user id it says invalid - login failed. I have tried this many times now and know that my username and pass are accurate because i can log i nto my profile on the muvizu site.

After reading other posts i am confused if i am supposed to use my muvizu username/pass or my youtube username/pass to log in on the app. (i have tried both by the way and neither work)

Please enlighten me!

Hi Conan1987,

Sorry you are having trouble - you log in using your Muvizu user name and password, but if you are entering yours correctly there must be a problem with the connection between your version of Muvizu and our servers.

Do you have any objects or characters at all? If you have no characters it points to a bug that another user has had, if you have characters and objects it may be something new.

Take care,
-Jim

Yeah ive tried with the Muvizu password and username again with no luck. I don't have any objects or characters at all, so looks like i have the same bug the other guy had. Is there any way of fixing it?

thanks!

Hi Conan,

If you do the following you can manually place the cache files in the correct location:

Open up My Computer
Click on Organise
Click on Folder and Search Options
Click on the View Tab
Click on the dot beside "Show Hidden Files and Folders"
Click apply

Now you need to go to C:\Program Data
Right - Click on an empty area of the folder
Click on New > Folder
Rename the folder Muvizu

Now go to http://rapidshare.com/files/411786865/Cache.zip
Download the .zip file
I would recommend scanning it with antivirus software before going any further
Open the .zip file
Extract or drag the files to the Muvizu folder you have created

This should allow you to run Muvizu and have all of the objects and characters .

We are currently looking into why some people are not able to connect to the Muvizu servers, but with this you should be able to use all of the programme, with the exception of uploading a video directly through the app. (You can upload through the web site)

Please let me know if this works.

Take care,
-Jim.

Glad to hear it Conan, hope you enjoy using Muvizu.

Just one quick question - is it the 64-bit or 32-bit version of Vista on your machine?

Take care,
-Jim.

Hi,

I also need to do this but cannot download the file as it has already been downloaded 10 times. Is there a way I can get this as I would like to test the application as I am thinking of using it in my animation course.

Thanks,

Shane

Hi Shane,

The files have been uploaded to FileFront, which doesn't have a cap on the number of downloads.

I have also changed them to self-extracting archives which should be easier to use:

Windows 7 and Vista:

http://www.filefront.com/17189470/Muvizu Cache - Vista and 7.exe

Windows XP

http://www.filefront.com/17189468/Muvizu Cache - XP.exe

If you have any problems or questions please let me know.

Take care,
-Jim
