Hi,

I'm an amateur Muvizu user from Brunei Darussalam(near Malaysia).

I want to create a project video using muvizu but its kinda hard for me because all the character and sets built in muvizu 90% not resemble with my culture. I'm not an expert 3D Modeling(i have absolutely no idea how to do 3D modeling)

I hope somebody from here is generous enough to create a character base on 'Malay Culture', 'Malay house' & 'Malay People'
I'm more then happy to buy if somebody do it for me and it may attract more potential Muvizu user from my region

Hi Camycast! I'm no expert about Malay culture so I don't really know what to look for... but hopefully you'll find something useful in these links:

Characters cannot be created, only modified - you can change the existing characters to look more like what you're after, but new characters cannot be created or imported (although we have been asking for that for a few years...)

Oh that's pity...hmm it's look like I need to sharpen my brain to learn new methods (how to modified) because I'm a leisure type person..

Hi Camycast, and welcome to the forum!

Muvizu can import only two specific model file formats: FBX and ASE.

Most of the files you find on download sites like the ones in the link you followed are in other file formats, so most of us have figured out ways to convert files from one format to another. Autodesk offers a free FBX converter that you can download.

Blender is another free product that has a LOT of capabilities, one of which is the ability to convert lots of file formats to FBX.

Another free product many of us use for file conversion is Sketchup... but it requires a plugin which also has to be downloaded and installed.

Hi PatMan

Yeah a million of thanks for your explanation. I'm not a good at 3D modeling and it's kinda hard for me to create according to my needs.

However I'll try to download software as recommended by you & play around to get used of it.
