Perhaps the smiling could be an added independently controlled option as is currently done with the eyes and head movement.

So smiling would be done as now with character actions, but should you wish to override the smile to neutral smile or sad smile then you could...

Got to agree. Neutral mode and facial overide would be great. Maybe all these things will come when the powers that be have a chance to turn their attentions towards some kind of facial animation system...

Wabby wrote:

a neutral mood (same actions with happy mood, but WITHOUT smiling)

Totally agree a neutral mood expression is needed. When I tryed to do serious video the only mood that would work and give a serious feel was the sad expression. But I didnt really want the sad body language. Catch 22

If it was possible to use any of the mood animations but have a face expression override. This would be very handy for mixing and matching stock anims with your desired face mood expression.

Yes, I agree, the camera movement system is always infuriating. Oh, you didn't say that? I wonder where I got that from them... :P

Neutral mood and object holding have been mentioned before and I believe the staff has said that there is a neutral mood in the works. Maybe in the new release due out this month?

Object holding would be ideal, but at the very least if they could tweak the wrist attachment feature to allow us to pick any object already in the program to be what is attached, which we can then use the already incorporated rotate and scale tools to make it look like it's in their hands. Oh, to dream...
edited by Danimal on 23/08/2011

Hi there,

After a long long time of using Muvizu (thanks again for your great software), here is a small list of different improvments witch are very important for my point of view to make good story telling movies :

Have a neutral mood (same actions with happy mood, but WITHOUT smiling)

Can make characters use objects and weapons (gun, sword...)

Have settings for the character moving speed

Have a larger window to adjust the camera focus distance and depth of field with more precision.

I hope, you anderstand what i wrote in english (i'm french) and it can help you :-)
