As mos said this won't be of much use to the majority of Muvizu users as it is intended for professional animators and studios. It is purely a rendering tool so think of it a very high end equivalent of the 'Make Video' function in Muvizu. There's a bit more info in this video

.

This is their RenderDigimania product. I took a look at it. All it does is take FBX scene files you export from something like Maya and render them with a realtime engine. There is NO capability to actually script your animation in the program. It's of no use to Muvizu users.

I don't know, but they use similar wording when talking of Muvizu:Pro

Near real-time rendering in Muvizu:Pro (in development) allows animators to see a finished scene in minutes instead of hours.
Once built into an animation pipeline Muvizu:Pro reduces the time of production and optimises workflow processes and costs.

From the DIGIMANIA website

"Our exciting rapid realtime render engine is already delivering high quality renders in minutes rather than hours and we want you to be among the first to hear about the software and its general release in Summer 2014".

Looks like the community may be correct that this is a different beast to Muvizu:Pro
edited by toonarama on 28/03/2014

I would have to agree. I don't see Muvizu getting to that level of animating anytime in this eon! Would be awesome if it was though. I would pay out some doe for that but it would end up like Muvizu is now stagnant waiting for a major character, animation, asset upgrade, or until Muvizu gives the users the capabilities of creating custom character animations and importing user created characters.

I do wonder at times where Muvizu is heading. sometimes I see an Open Source ending I'm sad to say. God I hope not. But Muvizu is limited to what the developers will let the users use. So with that in mind Muvizu will always be sub par to other animation software, no matter the ease of use is. It's apparent with the fact they didn't use Muvizu for thier show reel. Or maybe I am just being a stick in the mud and have to much time on my hands which means I should be animating instead of posting on the forums lol

Hamster out!
