Thanks for your open-mindedness, Primaveranz! Yes, the PC culture here has only gotten worse in recent years. It started out as an effort to be more inclusive and tolerant, but it has turned into a social justice warrior playing field in which people try to gain political advantage through guilt and shaming of anyone who doesn't adhere to the latest arbitrarily chosen rules.

The irony is that it has resulted in a culturally reinforced bigotry and net loss of tolerance for any point of view that isn't sanctioned by whoever is making all these counter-intuitive rules.

My gut tells me that "Divide and Conquer" is at the root of it all. If the citizens are trained to redirect their rage at one another then the leaders can do whatever they want because they have a wide variety of hot buttons to push as distractions.

Personally I am Agnostic but in all my travels I never met anyone of any religion, who objects to people celebrating a "Merry Christmas". It does seem to be a uniquely American issue. Hopefully those poor PC souls who invented "Happy holidays" will see the error of their ways some day.

I was hoping someone would start the Christmas cheer going around. Merry Christmas everyone!!! I know it is almost Boxing Day for some. Tomorrow is when I will be hanging out with my brother and his family.

I like the idea of a Christmas Card video. That is very clever.

Here is a wish for a safe holiday season for everyone.

A special shout out to Jamie for all his dedication and patience to get all of us up and running on Muvizu. I know I spend one morning emailing back and forth until I finally got the studio up and running. I think I ended up staying home from work that morning to get it done.
