It's pretty difficult - it takes a lot of patience to get them to align 100% - what I tend to do is make sure that the sections that I am recording are aligned properly (i.e. if the front looks good I don't care what the back looks like).

I suggested adding snapping a little while ago, it's not currently planned but I am keeping my fingers crossed.
