Hi grapevine, glad it worked.

No need to apologise - it's what I am here for, but it's strange that the Launcher didn't work. Do you have Windows Vista by any chance?

Take care,
-Jim.

Hi Jim, just to let you know it worked (second thing, going to muvizu.exe direct in prog folder). Apologies for such a basic query, thanks for the help, now for the masterpiece. Cheers!

Hello grapevine, sorry you are having trouble.

Some of the machines in the office have GeForce 310's, so it's probably not your card, but there are a couple of things that you can try:

If you go to C:\Program Files\Muvizu\Binaries (or C:\Program Files(x86)\Muvizu\Binaries if you have a 64-bit machine) you will see two .exe files: Launcher.exe and Muvizu.exe.

Launcher.exe is the application that runs when you click on your shortcut - it downloads and installs any updates then launches Muvizu.exe, the main programme.

First, could you try right-clicking on Launcher.exe and selecting "Run as administrator"

If that doesn't work try running Muvizu.exe

Please let me know how you get on.

Take care,
-Jim

Am wondering whether it is my graphics card - GeForce 310?
What happens when I click the desktop icon is (over and over) a completion of install process (mainly seems to be 'configuring elements') before all messages disappear and I'm back to my Desktop with no application open. No error message, though. Is this my feeble video card, then?
