Ok Lulu
I think it will be OK although AMD processors are not so exuberant as Intel ones.
Now it 's time to start doing more movies.
I'm looking forward to see your next video.

How I make a toon style Army Tank Hi Clayster

Very Nice Tank !
I never used Milkshape that's why I've to ask you a thing.
In this tank edges are sharp. Is it possible to use any smooth faces/edges function in milkshape ?

PC suggestions please I've seen in this forum and muvizu chat many complains about computer specs. Some users think they could run Muvizu without problems using the minimal specs presented in wiki. They must be aware that those minimal specs are not enough for big productions like some of gallery best movies. This is a game and like all 3d games the best is always the correct choice. We need a good processor and graphic card and plenty RAM amount in order to run this software smoothly. Even so surprises come up without warning. In my honest opinion common laptops are not good enough. Top laptops are expensive and not accessible to ordinary mortals. Desktops are cheaper spec by spec and produce the best results I ever saw.
Minimal specs work for simple productions with a high dose of patience, enthusiasm and tolerance. Importing more and more models, trying to make a splendorous asset, full of diversity, beauty and compositum need more than minimal specs.
Trying muvizu is one think evolve on it needs different hardware approach. Muvizu price is very good although packed with some bugs. Hardware is another story.

TRANSPARENT MATERIALS IN FBX FILES ziggy72 wrote:
That's a great little video Rodrisilva, but the model at the end is single sided - how can you avoid that?

One way is to duplicate mesh and flip normals direction on second mesh. Not necessariy all model but only transparent area car section.

You know, I had to choose a simple model for this tuto, not the ideal one.

TRANSPARENT MATERIALS IN FBX FILES Hi guys

After many complaints about Muvizu FBX importing drawbacks I decided to make a rapid tuto about blender model texturing and FBX exporting using transparency (inside same mesh model).
For those who need help or are confused, Blender remains a wonderful free software. Nothing in life will be easy if we do not try harder.

Coming to soon to the Muvizu store Guys, from now you can use transparent backdrops too without the unwanted black.

The same happens to me...

Sorry my friends

I never remember that Muvizu issue. In every version I always update xml file without thinking on consequences.
Anyway, changing it is very simple.... MuvizuGame\Config\DefaultGame.ini
Hope you'll get it

Coming to soon to the Muvizu store Hi

This week will be available on store my latest island Set.
The Set includes an island, a house, multiple sea square blocks with two texture layers for bottom sea and surface, some rocks and a tropical plant. Seashore waves work on an independent ASE model because FBX doesn´t allow opacity mask needed to run an RGBA movie.
Island and Seashore work together one above the other. The texture video running on seashore model use the alfa channel allowing to see the sand beneath. Infortunately ASE files doesn't allow the use of opacity control bar like FBX does. Anyway you can produce similar videos with different transparency levels and put them on this model set.
Sea blocks have an opacity bar control to change the water transparency.

Hi,

As Pat was saying, you can use the abstract primitive shapes from muvizu to texture them as buildings. Too bad they only have one texture slot for all sides, so I've made some primitive shapes with different slots for all sides, since not everyone is able to model and import shapes. I made every shape in three sizes, the biggest ones can be scaled to the size of a house. Will be in the store this week for free download.

Simple and funcional.
Have they any UV map or not ?; if not, they will need seamless textures for sure !

Aha, thanks for clearing that out Rodrigues! Can you directly import these fbx files in muvizu?

I'm not sure because I made that sometime ago. But yes I remember that the problem was the low resolution UV map in muvizu. Actually source UV size is up to 4096 px but muvizu doesn't handle that. All models have the same UV model which means low individual resolution after all.
I remeber that I have imported them in Blender and exported to fbx format again after some UV maps improvements.

Sorry, What I mean is " same UV map" for all mesh models.

That really is such impressive work. Any chance we can get a short clip to see the city in action?

Ikes, I see some similarities in the cities, but they don't look the same to me. If you looked at the cartoon-y cities in a lot of CGI movies and shows, you might see some similarities.

Well. maybe not exactly the same indeed. I was specifically meaning the brown houses with rounded roofs in the back. I also see them in Rodrisilva's latest movie.

Waves simulation Hi friends

I'm trying to finish a new animated sea set using a different approach. This time I made square sea blocks with two texture layers, one for bottom sea (sand, rocks) and the top one for sea waves with opacity control. This way we can control transparency level in order to show the bottom sea. Sea blocks are put together around the island simulating seashore. The the top layer is an animated texture. The waves crashing against the beach is another animated texture put over a 3d model surrounding the island.
This set will be on store for free soon. First I need to settle sea blocks ideal size.
