Multiple audio clips per character? Rexicon wrote:
I would hardly consider the ability for two characters to have a conversation, or for a single character to have several lines for that matter, to be hardcore anything.

And neither would I. It is an excuse that rears its ugly head from time to time.

And to whoever is deleting my posts - please email me and tell me why, thanks

You all used to be knee deep in Muvizu staff in here - unnecessarily.

It would be nice to know how many staff you still have. e.g. developers , artists etc.
Because changes like you are suggesting tend to make users nervous about the future.

Anna and the Robot, a Short Film Yes, really good use of Muvizu. Well done

Multiple audio clips per character? In fairness, as someone pointed out recently "Muvizu is a fun program to use, not specifically targeted towards hardcore animation producers".

Primaveranz - You're right, it is pointless, but can't you just ignore it and plough on? I can't see that it stops you doing anything .

Yeah it is not a showstopper but like Fazz says, you change something's position by a millimetre - wait 5 secs - change it again - 5 secs.
If it was optional, then those that get a kick from watching the same little gimmick ad nauseum would be happy, and the rest of us would have a least one less irritation in the minefield that is the current Muvizu workflow.

I disagree. Maybe it could be added as an option.

OK let me rephrase my original post:-

Please make the "routine" a character goes through every time you change an element of his design optional. E.g. I sit Sinister down and edit his chin shape, he stands up and acts surprised and then sits down again, so it takes about 5 secs before I can do the next edit. In my opinion it is just annoying and in no way contributes to the movie-making process.

Although I wouldn't remove it, (it is kinda neat,)

In what way is it "neat"? How does it contribute to me creating a movie? There are enough difficulties involved in working with Muvizu without having pointless "eye candy" exarcebating the situation.

..get Sinister to sit down in the big chair? Thanks guys, this is what you would have to do in some other unnamed software too, but I didn't realise there was such a thing as a "ground plane" here

Get my character to play drums Are you using Muvizu Play+? When I upgraded I couldn't open the avi files in Sony Moviestudio any more. It is a common issue. Report it to the helpdesk and they will send you a link to fix it.
If you are using the free version of Muvizu you probably need to install some codecs.

Get my character to play drums Which character is it? Some are limited to only use certain actions.

Super Hero actions I wish the Super Heroes had the musical and singing actions, I want to make an Elvis look-alike and the Super guy is the closest thing there is but he can't sing. Why can't they have all the usual actions? Surely it is just a matter of running a conversion script for the different skeletons and then a bit of tidying up?

3D Letter Objects. Aaaarrrggghhh! What version of Muvizu are you using? I just tried in Muvizu Play+ and all the letters have "Float in Air" on by default and none of those ones fall over. Also are you sure that, when you were editing the properties for each letter that the properties box was the right one for that letter.
I have a tendency to edit one object then click on another and start changing the values in the properties box, forgetting that it still refers to the previous object.
