The Barmy Buccaneer Excellent little animation - got real character and it's nice to be able to appreciate some authentic hand drawn work. Thanks for posting.

The newest Muvizu release... Has the time come for 2 versions of Muvizu?
A simple free one to encourage younger and newer users to use it and
A paid for one (not too much though!) which is more complex to use but which can incorporate some more advanced features?

Just a thought.

Facial animation facial puppeteering available in Reallusion products like Crazytalk and Crazytalk animator is very easy to use and produces effective results. Don't know whether something like this is a possibility.

It basically has 2 modes of operation in CTA

a) sprite based (where sprites are simply replaced)
b) morph based (picture of face is morphed)

This is the morph based:

I know UKBERTY was having similar problems but "solved" them partially be using the new 32 bit version instead.

Here's a new one Danimal
I think you are correct in the theory. I was having the same problem with a favourite character and that too had a decal so i guess it must be that that it can't find. Must admit i gave up and recreated him

thanks

Eyeball movement Can't remember the original website but here's a related article
When asked a question a "normally organized" right-handed person looks (from your viewpoint, looking at them):
Up and to the Left
Indicates: Visually Constructed Images (Vc)
If you asked someone to "Imagine a purple buffalo", this would be the direction their eyes moved in while thinking about the question as they "Visually Constructed" a purple buffalo in their mind.
Up and to the Right
Indicates: Visually Remembered Images (Vr)
If you asked someone to "What color was the first house you lived in?", this would be the direction their eyes moved in while thinking about the question as they "Visually Remembered" the color of their childhood home.

To the Left
Indicates: Auditory Constructed (Ac)
If you asked someone to "Try and create the highest the sound of the pitch possible in your head", this would be the direction their eyes moved in while thinking about the question as they "Auditorily Constructed" this this sound that they have never heard of.
To the Right
Indicates: Auditory Remembered (Ar)
If you asked someone to "Remember what their mother's voice sounds like ", this would be the direction their eyes moved in while thinking about the question as they "Auditorily Remembered " this sound.
Down and to the Left
Indicates: Feeling / Kinesthetic (F)
If you asked someone to "Can you remember the smell of a campfire? ", this would be the direction their eyes moved in while thinking about the question as they used recalled a smell, feeling, or taste.
Down and To the Right
Indicates: Internal Dialog (Ai)
This is the direction of someone eyes as they "talk to themselves".

Muvizu Roadmap Hello all

Loving the new release with it's extra quality and interesting additions (just discovered the severed head last night!)

However - and I appreciate this may be unanswerable - it would be interesting to know what enhancements are potentially pencilled in for the next release (!).

I say this because I have a number of ideas which really need certain functionality which is not currently supported. I know I could use workarounds but if it was known that certain functionality was on it's way this would be very helpful!

Thanks

Industrial-scale collaboration I like edgy comedy too but as one of my favourite comedians - Frankie Boyle - has discovered when you work on the edge it is very easy to step too far.
I agree that by being very careful you could avoid this but it is not always easy to see the line. For example at one stage you mentioned a graph showing the number of Jews; I would view that as too far but that is just my opinion.

I don't think you need too many collaborators and it is difficult imagining a story that everybody is happy with anyway. Perhaps you could ask the forum how many people would like to contribute to the production before you consider changing it.

All the best

Industrial-scale collaboration I don't think that it is necessary to derail the other idea - it's a free country and if there is enough people that like it and want to collaborate then that's up to them. Personally I would give it a miss but that would be no great loss to the project!

Problem with New Upgade Danny
I've had a similar problem before.

For me the problem was caused by choosing not to install the Direct X and .net supplied with Muvizu. If you unselected these try re-installing with them selected after first uninstalling your current version

The newest Muvizu release... I've experienced the same thing as Ziggy with the content overflowing the floating windows. Everything is still accessible so it does not stop you doing anything.
I wasn't aware of doing anything to prompt it to do so - the window i was using was the character features.
Also (and i only tried this with one character therefore it may be a one-off). A "favourite" character i created in the old 32 bit version refused to load up in the new 64 bit version
Thanks

Fart in the Park 2 Good to see that your standards haven't raised Mysto

PS I still can't work out how to embed the clips in the posts - exactly what is the format of the code that needs to be included?

Let's keep money out of this as far as production is concerned, or we could end up with everyone wanting a wage for their input Better to just concentrate on making a great movie and not on what we or others can make out of it.

Yes I agree totallly - by reasonable I was hinting at something less (!) but I guess as he is a "big player" in the machinima community he would not be able to do that as he would be inundated

Industrial-scale collaboration and Muvizuer MR (Ricky) Grove might be able to help us out at reasonable rates?
