I'd LOVE to see a Hollywood MOVIE FILMmakers PAK.. I love movies and animation, I love movies ABOUT movies and ABOUT Animation! I am an Artist as well as an Actor, and Mainly because I seriously want to make movies ABOUT movies or moviemaking! Muvizu has objects available for Music, and Theatre, and even TV, HOW ABOUT FILM!...FILMMAKING! I took that thought further in my head and said...what about Hollywood Filmmaking too, Some of what I would like to have available for this are: Studios, Backlots, Directors Chairs w/ Customizable Canvases (for names/images, as well as custom colors), Panaflex FILM Cameras, Playback Monitors, Film Canisters, Film Reels(Tons of different styles), EZ-ups, Food Trucks, Cables (of course) all necessary things on-set, Movie Theatres, Red Carpet, Paparazzi, proper Production CREW attire (Director-look, scripts, headsets for crew, etc), customizable Hollywood sign maybe, I dunno my head is REELing right now with ideas and want them now so I can get on with making MY Animated Movie or MUVI in MUVIZU. The movie "The Artist" and "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" are 2 of my TOP favorite movies of all time and I have a Long an distinguished...LIST! lol. Thanks for reading, this is my hope for the near future, and I realized I can't do it right now without the proper tools (some of which described above), I'm sure there are other things to include too in the .Set for On-Set to make movies about movies, Hopefully you'll add ideas to this and I hope to be able to do this and see this COMING very SOON...Please Let me know if this is possible and anymore ideas to add to this WISHLIST(Thanks!) Sincerely, EEFilmz

Last of the Fairy Kind I liked the forestry alot, and good texture usage in the foliage. SO visually I thought very good, and then I noticed the female fairy and her wardrobe, and then cut to the male fairy and I thought he could've used a fig leaf or something! LOL just kidding. Anyway, I like the traveling fairy light effects too...

short film about the last fairy creature searching for his lost mate. Why are the fairy creatures leaving this world?
An experimental film where only music, cameras and actions are used to create the mood for the story

Please comment and let me know what I could do to improve. Thanks for watching.

Need a model or set made? Yes, it's a tall order, adn since I have virtually almost zero modeling experience, I have to ask if it's out there or if you can make it:

I'd like to have an entire int/ext complete Castle...like a Draculas type castle w/moat or something or a Medieval one...just thinking of several ideas here for a creepy cool castle I cannot build LOL.

New character? Not to poop on your request, but ONE evil woman far exceeds a balance of MANY evil men. By the way you did not hear that from me! LOL

I was going to ask for a more modifyably (?) face. I love the brows but you are stuck with the one nose and one set of ears, or have I just not looked hard enough?

Amazing characters though.

How about an evil lady just to balance the odds - a Queen Zelda.

You're absolutely right EEF, I forgot about all those screens with 2 million DOWNLOAD NOW! buttons on them. I've gotten so used to them, I just cut to the chase. The basic codec pack link (which was at the end of a chain of 3 pages!) is here :

http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/KLite-Codec-Pack-Basic/1094057842/1

Big blue button on the right, can't miss it - that's the actual file link.

And same again for the 64 bit version :

I hope this helps everyone who struggles to download these things through the wall of spam.

The CrucifiXion Ver 2 Thanks evreybody, I didn't see this one uploaded to muvizu, kinda wondered if it would show up on the site, so people could tell me which version they like better 8) - EEF

p.s. -for now I uninstalled any downloaded/seperate codecs, and left thre xvid one I had previously downloaded, and guess what?...for the first time ever!...wen I create a vid from muvizu using the xvid codec - it now shows up as an icon on my desktop WITH a preview shot of the Toon! - that NEVER happened before. Anyway, that was a sidenote, but for now I'm gonna try it like this and make xvids out of muvizu and export from videopad in (post-edit) using the H264 codec, and see how long that lasts. If it fails after a wihle, then I'll do as Ziggy72 instructed (I know that'll owrk, I did it before-Thanks Zigmeister!)...I'm saving this page for the links etc. - EEF

Download this one first (basic pack) :

Then the 64 bit ones too, at the bottom of the list. Install the basic pack, restart machine, install the 64 bit ones, then you should be fine.

The CrucifiXion Ver 2 OK Marco, I uninstalledd all codecs I could find in there-klight video codec pak, and some others, it took out ffdshow, and the only seperate one I didn't uninstall yet is one for xvid From xvid, should I unhinstall that too?
and once that's all done do you please have valid/safe links for me to download valid codecs for 64 bit machine? because I'm not sure or do I even need to download any codecs? Marco_D wrote:
Hi EEF,

That definitely looks like a codec problem.

I would uninstall all codecs through the Windows control panel and install them again.

You are using the 64bits version, correct?

Marco

Either Muvizu or my Codecs are corrupt...HELP plz Marco how do I do that ? I'm not sure if I know how ...to turn it off/on AntiAliasing?

Marco_D wrote:
Hi EEF,

You can try using the Directx11 to get a better quality video output.
However I don't think that will be the problem.

Can you please try making a video with Anti-Aliasing on and Anti-Aliasing off and see if the quality is the same.
I noticed you have a Nvidia card and we have an issue where the AA sometimes doesn't work with certain Nvidia cards.

Let us know your findings

Marco

Either Muvizu or my Codecs are corrupt...HELP plz Yep, same results no matter what codec I use. I switched from xvid to ffdshow and was getting good results out of muvizu for a while, then I always import into videopad; edit, and then it outputs it using H264 (which I love how that usually comes out) from videopad, but the problem is out of muvizu, the renders are inconsistant and bad now! that last KISS vid I did took me about 10 times to rerender. p.s. - I notice there are alot of "settings" to change within the codecs etc...I am not totally sure if I am not changing something, or if I am choosing wrong settings etc, I just played around til I found what worked best for a long while, and now it's not anymore, and the only thing different is the version of muvizu, (and now the codecs bceause I have been trying to fix this mess). Now everytime I render out a vid from muvizu it's crap, and if I get lucky it's usually a one shot deal, if I try to render again it'll be bad again. Anyway, hope this helps you to help me - Thanks Marco!

Opening Set files I keep getting this Wow...Thanks ukBerty, you definitely helped with that idea, for sure!...Also I mispoke b4, I mean I am using whatever the latest version of muvizu is, I listed it here for Jamie too...Now if only I could understand why I have NEVER in any version, been able to import ANY video onto a backdrop in muvizu or anywhere in muvizu Ever!...That's an old problem I wish I had figured out by now too.

EEFilmz wrote:
What do you mean "don't" save the sets if I want to use them again in extreme version?

I mean that if you're using the Extreme version don't save sets you make in the released version unless you rename them. As the Extreme version doesn't guarantee forward set compatibility anything you save in any particular vintage of Extreme probably won't be able to be used in any other version - future or past. If you're working on a short clip that's fine but as I'm working on something that'll take longer I have to avoid production using the Extreme version for this reason.

EEFilmz wrote:
and how do you "roll back" to a previous version (when you need to)?

Muvizu install is great as you can install multiple versions. So when the next version comes out I will install in in c:\program files\Muvizu23b. I can then play with this new Extreme version and have the old one to fall back on. Same with stable releases. If there are any problems with the new version which means I cannot use it I can "roll back" and just use old one. I keep using "save as" withe the suffix on my sets until I'm happy with the new version as sets saved are not backwardly compatible.

Sure you lose your favourites this way, but like you I have a "characters.set" with all my chaps in which I simply load and add everyone in favourites again.

If you have installed over the old version you could download it and install in c:\program files\muvizu21b or whatever. All you need to do is create shortcuts to c:\programfiles\muvizuXXX\binaries64\muvizu.exe for each version.

Hope this explains....

Never able to import Video...Need Help Step 1+.... It's ANY video I ever try, tonight I tried to download a vid off the internet and save it as a non-hd file thinking hd was the issue (i read that in an old thread) but even that didn't work. So, my guess is, it's not the version of muvizu I have that's the issue b/c even older versions didn't work, it's not the hd thing b/c you just said that shouldn't matter, I keep getting a nessage saying it's not the correct format, but it's AVI! and if it's an mpg I convert it to AVI - I even tried the windows sample video from the videos folder.
Here's another question possibly related to this...I read a thread in the muvizu site about transparent videos - how you had to go in and change the INI file within muvizu...I Never did that - was I supposed to do that in order to be able to import video?

The extreme version of Muvizu maybe the problem EEF. It's a bit out dated now anyway as we released a stable version early September. I'd recommend upgrading to the latest stable release version before you do anything else.

If you want to go back to other versions of Muvizu they are available on the download page or I can post mirror links to let you download them.
