Moving Favorite Characters to new Play version Hi Neil,

Thanks. As I am so used to saying, "stupid me". With the new Look and Feel, I didn't do a list view, so at first glance I saw only the standard characters. As par for the course, I never explored further.

Thanks.

Moving Favorite Characters to new Play version Hi,

I have many favorites, re-useable characters. How do I move them over to the new Play version?

editor crash Hi,

I had the same crash anytime I tried to do something with the camera windows..

I also had a DLL missing.....AVFormat-lav-54.dll

I uninstalled ffdshow and installed the K-Lite_Codec_pack_985_X64.exe (seemed to help)

Thanks all, now I know why I constantly look at the forums. There is always good information to be had.

Hide walls Hi,

Thanks Emily, I didn't think of floating them. I'll try it.

Hide walls Hi

I was hoping to eliminate the moving of the wall and then putting the wall back into place.

Thanks for the quick response.

As always, a great product, great staff, and of course, great Muvizu users.

Hide walls Hi,

Is there any way to hide a wall. If I have a closed room, and I want to work inside the room, is there any way to hide a wall or two while I modify the rooms interior, or manipulate the characters inside the room?

Error loading set file Hello

Before I burden you with the set file.

The set was created with the latest version of Muvizu.

MZASS-v0.22b - build: 2012.09.11.01R (64 bit) DX11

I did some directory reorganization.

Does the .set file contain the objects, or are there links to the objects in the set file?

If links, then I created the problem by reorganizing.

Error loading set file Hi,

I have a set file that I actually made a movie. Now I want to change the scene and and I get a message..

There was an error loading scene
Failed to load object from file

Is there any way to determine what object cannot be loaded. I do have some .skp imported objects in the scene.

Video Clips Hi,

I know there are 'other' ways to do this, but I was wondering if there is a way to 'make movie' for only a specified time line duration (start time - end time). I will gladly accept suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

Length of the Character Actions HI,

Thanks, I figured as much, but it is reassuring to hear from other Muvizu users. I am still a novice, so I may ask questions that have already been discussed somewhere else. Please have patience. I love the product, and the forum is outstanding.

Length of the Character Actions Hi all,

I need some advice.

With conversational actions, when I press 'idle', the character goes immediately to the idle position. Sometimes this is a very jerky 'arms at side' movement. Is there a method to use to soften the 'idle' movement. I know that if I time it perfectly, sometimes I can go to idle on a conversation down movement
which does soften the movement.

Disappearing Character Thanks guys.

Now I know I must be careful and try to make my scenes a little less complicated.

I do use a lot of head movements and actions. There is also a large amount of dialog and character movement.

I guess the KISS principle applies to everything.

I will take precautions.

Thanks again.

Disappearing Character Hi,

When I manipulate a character's movement from the timeline, sometimes the character disappears from the display. If I 'moveto' or 'view' the character from the scene view, the character is highlighted with brackets but does not display. I have the .set file if needed.

I would like to know if I am doing something wrong, as I must delete the character and recreate it. Then I must add all the actions and movements again. This has happened more than once. I am using the latest version of Muvizu.

Windows 64 bit.

Any help is usually good help.

Telephone and Mobile Hi,

Thanks for the advice. I looked at EP2, and that's pretty much what I want to do. I will need to rewrite a little to make it work, but it looks good.

Thanks again.

Telephone and Mobile Hi,

I like the telephone and mobile action. They work well. However, I would like to simulate a pickup and hangup. I have telephone conversations that go on for more than several seconds. Pickup the telephone or mobile, hold picked up while talking, then hangup. Any chance someone knows a technique for doing this?

Talk and Shush Hi,

Why, sometimes when I shush, the characters mouth stays open? Is there a technique for using shush at certain times during the dialog to have the character's mouth close on a shush.

Is there a way yo make a character smile on demand ?

Thanks in advance

Why all the DLL Crashes (UE3Engile.dll) Hi Marco,

I don't have the original .set files and I have already downloaded and am using the new 64 bit version (DirectX 11). I went back and added all the conversational actions to my scenes and have had no problems. Whatever the error, probably user, everything seems 'just fine'.

I am sorry to have taken your time.

Merci mille fois.
