My Muvizu video! Hi SonOfKong,

The first thing to do is make sure your YouTube account is connected to your Muvizu account. To do this, click on your username next to the "Log Out" button and then select "My account".

Scroll down and you'll find a linked text that says "Log in to YouTube" - click it, then enter the details for your YouTube login. It's worth pointing out at this stage that you need to ensure that your channel and Google+ account have been set up, and that the names match; if they don't, your account won't link due to the way Google now handles YouTube.

Once successful, you should see the name of your YouTube channel where the text had been. Scroll to the bottom of the page, press save, then go back to the top of the page on the Muvizu site. You'll see the big, red "Upload" button - press it, then select to upload a video. Once you've chosen the video from your machine, you can carry out the upload process; once it's complete, you'll see the video has been uploaded to your YouTube account, and it will go into our moderation system - our team doesn't take long checking them, and once your video has been approved, it will appear in the Gallery.

Hope this helps!

Fatal Error! You might have more luck with .WAV files.

Can't play any videos?? Hi Steven,

We've got more codecs on our wiki which you can download. Just make sure you install one that's the same bit type as Muvizu (32bit or 64bit), otherwise Muvizu won't be able to access them.

occasional error message Hi Dave,

If you've ticked those boxes and went through with the install, then it might be worth uninstalling and then reinstalling Muvizu and trying again. If you've no luck after a second install with the three ticked (if it asks you to repair your framework, just go through the process) then you can download them directly from Microsoft. Don't worry, it shouldn't cost you anything!

The download links are listed below:

DirectX Runtime - http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=35
Visual C++ Runtime - http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=5555
.NET 4.0 Framework - http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=17851

occasional error message Hi Dave,

When you first installed Muvizu, did you install the C++ Runtime on the tick boxes that appear during the process? There's a prompt section asking if you want to install the C++ Runtime, the DirectX Runtime and the .Net Framework.

"Unable to load Muvizu.dll (Exception 0x8007007E) When you made the change, did you try shutting down and bringing Muvizu back up? It might not make the change right there and then, but rather require a reset. Just on the off chance that's what fixes it.

"Unable to load Muvizu.dll (Exception 0x8007007E) If you open up Play, go to "File", then "Options", there's a resolution drop down box right at the top of the window that pops up. You can knock it back down to 1280x720, hopefully that should solve the problem.

"Unable to load Muvizu.dll (Exception 0x8007007E) If you get the "Muvizu.dll" error, it means that you need to reinstall the C++ Runtime, .NET Framework, and/or the DirectX Runtime. Uninstall Muvizu, and then run the installer again, leaving those selected - if they recommend you repair something, go through with the process. Once that's done, try running Muvizu again. If you encounter that issue again after the reinstall process, then try downloading them directly from Microsoft. You NEED to run our installer first, though, because it has some settings that won't be included right off the bat with Microsoft.

The links to download the runtimes and framework from Microsoft are listed below:

Urban Lamb? http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/UnrealUnits.html

http://wiki.beyondunreal.com/Legacy:Unreal_Unit

From what I'm seeing here, they don't actually have a "fixed" measurement; everything comes with different sizing depending on the game, or whatever the engine is being used for - in this case, Muvizu. Urban perhaps knows the scale required for things to make them a decent size when you bring them into Muvizu after you've been through Blender (perhaps even Maya), but there's not a fixed UU to real world scale conversion.

One of the devs might know more about this, so we'll see if any of them stumble across this topic...

Muvizu main screen area continuously spinning. Hi Smartypants,

There's no way to change the controls inside of Muvizu, so I'm afraid the best workaround is just to unplug it when you're using Muvizu.

I'd try contact@muvizu.com or the support form - http://www.muvizu.com/Support

Some emails to the bugs@muvizu address are dropping, which is a bit of an annoyance, but we're trying to get it working.

In the meantime, Bharath, we've replied to your message so please check your emails.

WAV FILE Problems Hi Dancepanda,

Have you tried closing and reopening the set? This has happened to folk here and there, if the set reopens without the audio, just reimport it and it should work.

Error loading the scene. Failed to load object Hi Matrixnaz,

We're having some problems with our email linkup at the moment, so we didn't receive your email. However, if you could send us your set again with your email to contact@muvizu.com then we will reply to you as soon as possible. We've done some checks, so that should definitely work this time around.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

"Not enough room" Error - Revisited Glad to hear the reinstall worked - we definitely responded, though, as I replied to your query this morning personally. Not sure why it's not come through yet, but maybe worth keeping an eye out on the off chance it's sending slow. Make sure to check your junk, too, in case it's been moved there automatically.
