Hello xXHNutXx,

Looking at the error message, it would seem that your graphics card is not up to the minimum spec. GlasgowJim posted something that may help get muvizu running on your system at the end of this thread here:

http://www.muvizu.com/Forum/topic269-error-msg--first-time-running.aspx

I'm not sure that it will help, but it may allow Muvizu to run.

If you post the details as suggested by Emily or just tell us the make/model of your graphics card then we can confirm that it is the graphics card that is the problem. Also, you would need to run your graphics card at a higher resolution - at least 1024x768 to get the best out of muvizu.

Regards
Robert

Hi kachalo,
The best thing to do is to uninstall and then reinstall Muvizu 3D with the Direct X and .net option installed, if what is bundled with Muvizu is older than what is on your system already then the newer parts will be kept. By doing this it will ensure that all parts of Direct X and .net needed are available for Muvizu. If your still having problems after doing that check that you have an up to date version of the Microsoft Visual C++
2005 Redistributable Package installed, this can be found at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=200b2fd9-ae1a-4a14-984d-389c36f85647&displaylang=en
If you are still having problems you can reply to us here or at contact@muvizu.com and we'll be happy to investigate the problem further.
Cheers,
The Muvizu Team.

Hi binarycode,
We had a look into the error you've reported "Vertex element type 5 not supported" and it looks like this is because your hardware is not compatible with the Muvizu 3D application. Can you provide us with some more details of your system?
Thanks,
The Muvizu Team

Muvizu 3D is compatible with 64-bit systems. It's been tested on Windows Vista and Windows 7 64-bit systems. The problem you've experienced is more likely due to the version of direct x or .net that you have installed. We'd recommend you download and install the version of Muvizu with direct X and .net included in it. If you're still having problems you can reply here or email to contact@muvizu.com and we'll do everything we can to sort this out for you.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for letting us know, we would like to apologise for any inconvenience these problems have caused.
The issue with the accessories arose after a software update on our systems, at the end of last week, which disabled the accessories from being displayed within the application.
The DLL problems described here should be fixed simply by using the version of the installer with direct X and .net, as shedofjoy points out. The issues with the link in the .net installer not working is unfortunately out of our control as this is provided by the .net installer and not Muvizu. You can get the latest .net framework installer at <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=AB99342F-5D1A-413D-8319-81DA479AB0D7&displaylang=en
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=AB99342F-5D1A-413D-8319-81DA479AB0D7&displaylang=en
Thanks again and don't forget to take part in our 3D animation contest which is being run in conjunction with 3D World magazine. The prizes up for grabs are fantastic. Check out the competition details at http://www.muvizu.com/SiteNews/Default.aspx?did=8
