They're a bit inconsistent with how quickly these things are fixed, but usually it's around just over a month from when it's released. First, I would suggest to totally remove the latest version from your computer. Revo Uninstaller comes to mind ( http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html . Scroll down to the free version). Then download a fresh copy from Ziggy72's copy ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-_4UVPr59ACUElFYTJrbkRJYWM/view?usp=sharing ). Don't say yes to the update message when you open Muvizu.

I reloaded the program and opened it only to find none of the effects worked.

I have made sure my licence is activated and tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

I've also tried both the 32 ad 64 bit versions and in both versions of Muvizu the effects have stopped functioning on the direct x9 version.
