Troubleshooting - Supported File types
Muvizu:Play and Play+ work with their own native format called a ".set" file. This file is a "project" file and may contain any of the following asset types as well as characters, animation, cameras, etc. These files are "opened" rather than imported as the following file types are.
At present Muvizu:Play and Play+ supports the following asset types, any other asset types will not import:
- Objects/Models: .ase and .fbx
- Character Attachments: .ase and .fbx
- Audio Files: .wav and .mp3 (Can also take the audio from an .avi video)
- Video Files: .avi (you need to have the codec used for the AVI install for the video to play).
- Images/Textures: .bmp, .jpg, .png, and .gif (Animated .gifs are currently not supported)
- Character attachment and .fbx import are only available to Play+ owners.
If you are unable to import assets of these types please try exporting them again using the software detailed on the Essential Kit page. If you are still unable to import the assets please send them to bugs@muvizu.comsupport@digimania.com along with a description of the error and any files used when you got the error.
