I made an animation video for a class project to be played on a computer but do not intend to upload it to YouTube. It's 9 mins and 49 seconds in length and the file size is 2.53 GBs. I had selected YouTube Standard as my resolution. After Make Video completes, it does not play with Windows Media Player, RealPlayer or VLC. I then attempted Make Video again but aborted at 30 seconds, 60 seconds and 5 minutes. The 5 minute shortened video is 1.44 GBs. These shortened versions all play using the three players. Is there a 2 GB limit? How can I get my entire video to play using those players?

did you make the 9mins 49 secs all in one go? that is a huge amount of time for 1 video in one go. i think most of us make the video in shorter segments then join it together in editing. do you have any sort of video encoding software (for example Any video converter ) if you do you might try and encode it with a smaller bit rate to make the file smaller.

Yes your pc wont play anything over 2 gb its a windows thing. If you want it to play you have to encode it outside of muvizu so its recognizable. Myself I use 1 minute clips because I use an uncompressed format so anything over 1 minute is larger then 2 gb.

Thanks for the suggestions. I downloaded Any Video Converter and converted the video using a smaller bit rate. Now I can play my entire video!
This is my first attempt at making a video. From now on, I'll make shorter segments as both of you mentioned.
Your help is greatly appreciated!
