We are currently looking into a few ways that we can do this as it would make things simpler for those people who aren't particularly knowledgeable about PCs.

In the meantime, I think this site could be a good resource for those users who aren't particularly tech-savvy: http://www.yougamers.com/gameometer/10209/ if they click on "Click Here" and a Java programme will scan your machine, allowing you to see if it meets the processor and graphics card requirements.
