Posts: 14 		Updated muvizu today as requested on opening the program but when it had installed and tried to run it failed with this error message.

on clicking OK program terminated.
uploaded fresh copy of installer from http://www.muvizu.com/Get-Muvizu
ran installer and got same result.
any ideas?

Posts: 2220 		For the time being, you might want to stick with the version you had before because there's an issue with opening old sets in the latest version (you should find the installer in your downloads folder with a date before November).

If you still want the latest version then follow these instructions:
This looks like the sort of issue you get with a dodgy download, but could also be a problem with the latest version.
If you didn't tick the 3 boxes (.net framework etc) at the end of your install, try that. If that doesn't work and you have a relatively slow download speed (eg: takes over 15 mins to download) try using a download manager: http://www.muvizu.com/Wiki/wiki/64/troubleshooting-download-managers
If none of those things work, then contact support: http://www.muvizu.com/Support
Contacting support may take longer than usual since they're currently being bombarded with issues opening older sets.

Posts: 14 		I blame myself, uncharacteristically channelling Dr Pangloss I broke my own rule -- ' don't install any update immediately it becomes available.'

unfortunately installing even the 1.5 version results in the same error,

I'll probably try removing all trace and a fresh install, maybe try the 32 bit version. Luckily I don't have a project running at moment, I just wanted to try some new face textures.

They've just released an update, try downloading today's version and installing it.

I've uninstalled my last install and reinstalled 1.5 again.

It works.

However it wont accept my plus license key, 'not valid. error W1'

it's going to be one of those days.

uninstalled,

installed todays version (MuvizuPlaySetupDXDotNetFull_2015.11.10.01R_x64)

works!

accepts license key!

So I'll enjoy this topic (apologies to the author), because I have a problem
more or less similar. I allow Muvizu download the update but when it seems to have completed the installation, I get the following error message:



Does anyone have an idea? I said that I already have several times tried to redownload this update but still the same problem.

Posts: 1786 		you probably need a download manager. As its probably your internet that is the cause. If your connection is slow its probably timing out and things and would corrupt the file or maybe your download is incomplete.
