I found another bug

not huge but I was making some items and for the life of me could not figure out when I imported them why I could not animate any properties.. well it seems that you have to save the set with the object in it that you import and then reopen the set and then you can animate the properties. (colour/texture change)

not a huge bug but while we are pointing out oopsies this is an oopsy I noticed tonight .. after about an hour of thinking I was doing something wrong with my models somehow

Thanks for that urbanlamb, I've logged the issue!

It really is Ziggy. I've logged this as a bug and hopefully we can find a solution to this problem. Congrats on figuring it out

After Update, things are going wrong Yeah, I think ziggy has hit the nail on the head here. Muvizu does seem to get a bit confused about updating content packs just now. Best download and install them separately.

Let us know how you get on!

Help me Hi pinball,

You could try having a look in either C:\program files or C:\program files (x86) to see if there is a Muvizu folder. If there is you can go into the Binaries (either 32 or 64) folder and find Muvizu.exe, then right click on it and select the "Send to" option followed by "Desktop (Shortcut)"

If you are not able to find the Muvizu folder at all, I'd suggest you go to control panel then to programs and features. Check the list for Muvizu and uninstall it. Then re-install it and during the process (it's the last step) make sure the option to create shortcuts is ticked - this should put the shortcut back on your start menu.

Hope this helps - let us know if you have any further problems

YouTube annotations DancinDna wrote:
Question, can I actually make a muvizu with the annotations embedded from the start? or, Do i have to upload to youtube via muvizu and then add annotations. Any answers will be well received as I am currently doing a follow up Muvizu to an all ready posted youtube clip; It was posted after i started Muvizuing, but before i had worked out how to first upload my content to Muvizu Site. Thanks for any help that is coming, but most of all, Keep on Dancin, Dan.

some wierd error or other. I did a fresh install and cleaned my registry because it appeared my muvizu was scrambled. Alas it was not my pc that scrambled it..

anyhow when you create a video afterwards and try to save after doing some work you get the message that you cant save because the file is in use by some other application

after farting around I discovered that the video joiner (which i dont use) seems to not be shutting down or something after you do a render. I was about to go searching and I noticed that muvizu which seemed to be installed twice had a second instance running for the video joiner just as I was about to force it to shut down..

note: this is on the 64bit muvizu download.

basically if i do a little render I have to restart my pc before I can continue lol

Another weird Urbanlamb.. does this happen consistently? Can you go to task manager and do end process rather than having to restart each time?

Actually I'm a bit confused - the video joiner should not be running unless you actually start it yourself :S

the focus/depth of field seems to be a bit odd lol it kind of like focusing top half/bottom half instead of back/front hard to explain anyhow here is two screenies...one from the make video window and one me watching the clip you will see what i mean

Yeah this is a strange one. At least DX11 works for blue and focus Hopefully this will be fixed for the next release.
