Break Up Stories:- Need a few Animators... So our newest video is now LIVE. Slightly longer this time - at 8ish minutes - but I have to say, Ron's outdone himself on this epic saga, all about the girl who was dumped on a cruise...This has always been a favorite of mine - ever since launching back in 2000.

Check it out on SYBD if you have 10 min!

Thanks to all, and good work Ron.

Much appreciated!

Machinima Expo 2011 Now Accepting Submissions >> Well, it's logistics. Notifying 185 people in a week, then setting up blog for announcing 61 films in an interesting way with links, etc. takes time, too. We announce the jury films first, then starting Saturday we announce the first 25 films on the screening reel and then Tuesday, the next 25 films.

Ok, Got it thanks. Will keep an eye out in due course...

Thanks kkffoo too!

Machinima Expo 2011 Now Accepting Submissions Well done Ron (and the other two noms, of course, but may the best Zu-er win LOL!!)

Only where do we see the official announcement on the shortlist including the Muvizu ones?

I saw the 11 that MachineExpo tweeted yesterday ( but no Muvizu films to be seen so color me confused (as usual, it doesn't take much).

Can anyone shed any light only I might like to tweet/like/post/etc the link.

Thanks in advance, and good luck all!

Break Up Stories:- Need a few Animators... Hello ziggy,

...thanks for updating the thread. Nearly 100 views in less than a week is not too bad. Especially considering I hit the wrong button and deleted ALL of my sites on my server so we had a day's outage in there!

Thanks for your work. Can't wait for Story # 4. It's going to be a cracker...with Blue Cheese

Break Up Stories:- Need a few Animators... Yes that is odd. :-)

Thanks for your hard work Zig.

A good job as usual.

PS: That's it on the landing page at So You've Been Dumped! Doing my best to circulate all over online. Could use some retweets if any Twitter folks read this - @soyouvebeendump - cheers!

Break Up Stories:- Need a few Animators... Hi gals! Thanks for watching (& tweeting).

Zig did good. I had no idea what he was going to do with it at all, but hey, the kid done good!

Ha ha speaking of which, here's my 78-year old dad's review of the video:

Pretty much sums it up. LOL. Bless.

Good job Ziggy. Hope someone else will come forward as I'd like to keep the releases to monthly.

We'll give Zig a break to catch up on all his other work for a while before doing another one

Break Up Stories:- Need a few Animators... Hello Muvizuers!

Yesterday we launched "Chapter 2" of the SYBD Break up stories:
- a five minute interview animated rather beautifully by Ziggy72.

Due to his having a full time job, other commitments and a penchant for perfection, he is unable to commit to do them every month. (Totally Understandable).

So I am here to ask if there is anyone else out there who is willing to work on Chapter 3 or 4 etc.

I have a few more interviews that could be animated and I'd like to get started on them pretty quick.

The stories will be in the 5 minute range. Or at least that is the aim.

Still hoping to do more animated lines which are much shorter projects (e.g. less than 30 seconds) if anyone would like to do a less ambitious time consuming project

If you're interested email me info (at)

Would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

PS: I have been so impressed with the work of Ziggy and Gordon too (on the previous break up lines) so far, and really hope to find more wonderfully-talented people of that caliber to work with on these FUN projects

Break Up Lines Animated - Will You Help? Thank you Ziggy for your great work on our first short "Story".

Chapter 1 is "Brad"

I am beyond-impressed that you did this in less than 2 days. You're a true, talented gem.

Really appreciated your efforts and how you dug me out of the hole.

Maybe it will do so well we'll look to animate the whole movie. So far feedback has been great - really positive comments/praise.

Perhaps his 180-turn will turn out to be a blessing in disguise?

All the best to you and all the Muvizuers!

Break Up Lines Animated - Will You Help? Hello Muvizuers,

Happy New Year,... Geez it's nearly the dreaded Valentine's Day - LOL.

Are there any willing creators out there?

I really need some new lines...

Five are now live on the SYBD channel:

One, the line that inspired SYBD, is on the landing page at That may changed to a rotating player when I can work out what my colleague here has done with PHP for me!

If you're willing to create one, then please email me -- as I forget to check Private Messages here (sorry Ziggy! Just read yours from December!)....

During my trip to Muvizu HQ last month, it was suggested that animations were longer so I would consider doing some of the "stories" rather than the lines. These tend to be a few sentences longer than the break up lines....Up to seven or 8 sentences...Still less than a minute as a guess?

Thanks in advance,

Break Up Lines Animated - Will You Help? Thanks to ZiggyStardust7272 for today's #4 line:

He just made it, voiced it and sent it to me - I had no idea he was even doing it - and voila - One Take!

Impressive hon! Both the animation and your initiative too!

Need a few more done, if anyone fancies a shot, so we can have them ready come January/February time.

Thank you and happy holidays to y'all.

Break Up Lines Animated - Will You Help? Sadly no line for this week! ......Hopefully next week....?

Be good to get a few folks making some and then we can just have a "bank" of them that can be posted weekly. It would also spread the burden around a bit. Really appreciating what's been done so far...

Praying a few more folks will come forward... :-)

Break Up Lines Animated - Will You Help? Ha ha, I know right, Claire. Priceless...One of the next one's a real favorite of mine. You're going to love it.

I've a few chestnuts left to get animated still...(few hundred that is)! Ha ha.

Thanks in advance.

Looking for an Animator for short project. freakmoomin wrote:
I think ive heard your voice in a hundred different things before
have you ever done any animation voiceovers before?

She did the voice in mine that went live last Friday

And I was so pleased with it - I asked her to do another one for a future Break Up Line last night!

Thanks Jo.
