Home ? Importing Assets ? Can't get SketchUp to load

Posts: 66 		Anyone have issues with getting SketchUp to load? Everytime I try, it says it encountered a "Bug Splat". Then when I send the error message, it says to go to "Help - > check for update". But I don't see the "help" option? I'm stuck on the first page which asks you for a template selection. Anyone know what to do?

My best advice is to uninstall it on the control panel, then download the latest version and re-install it on your pc.

Posts: 66 		Unfortuneately I tried that and it just won't load. I get as far as selecting a template to use, then it crashes.

Appreciate it! I'm at work now, so I'll have to check some things later. Just figured a lot of users here have had it so I wondered if they had the same issue. From checking the Sketchup forums, I'm going to try and turn off the hardware acceleration for my computer. I heard that solves a lot of problems because sketchup uses a certain version of OpenGL.
