Hello,

My lip syncing features start off working for my 2 characters but at some point the characters stop mouthing the words or said differently its like the sync feature was turned off although at some point it starts working again. I'm thinking it may have something to do with capacity as I add some music and after this happened the problem occurred but I really have not idea. Thanks so much in advance.

It might be the music that is throwing off the sync. Record the music and the dialog separately. Use the dialog for lip-sync and add the music in post production, using your favorite video editor.

I've got a question in this area.

I want to use Muvizu to do a video of one of my band's songs. I am sure this is a common thing and I am just thick.

Anyway, I had the following plan
  • record a spoken audio track of the vocals in time to the song
  • lipsync the singer character to this audio
  • import the full song (and line up the vocals)
  • "mute" the lipsync'd audio - I don't want to hear my spoken track

I can't see how to achieve the last step.

Obviously I need the spoken audio still "in" the video, or the character stops "speaking", but I am not sure if this is possible.

Any help very welcome.

I may post this as a new question otherwise.

Many thanks,
Chris

As bigwally said the last two steps would have to be done post-production using a video editor.

Ah. So the way to go with this is to do all the video in Muvizu (taking care with timings/cues lining up) and produce a "finished" video which has the spoken track on it.

Then take that into a video editor, mute the sound for that track and import the song audio at that point.

I get it.

Thanks for that. I'll give it a try. (Now I'll go and search the forum history for video editor recommendations)

You could try Lightworks, which has just added mp4 support (or so I've read anyway) and the basic version is free (or it was the last time I checked, these things change so quick these days).

Yes still free. I have a copy but it's a bit clunky to use. I didn't find it very intuitive.
