Okay, since Muvizu does not support 3dconnexion's SpaceNavigators mouse, what kind of devise is preferred for complex precise animation? I'm sure more than a few Muvizu'ers have favorites.

I'm using a laser mouse that works fairly well; though, even when I slow its reaction time down, if I'm not careful, things still tend to fly around too quickly. Any ideas?

Google for Xpadder. It's a small app that allows you to map any control on just about any game controller to windows keyboard key presses, mouse clicks and mouse movements. In other words, you can use your favorite controller to operate Muvizu--great for controlling the camera. I do not know if they ever made it work successfully with SpaceNavigator, though I know they tried some years ago.

I bought an Xbox 360 controller and used Xpadder to map it to the Muvizu controls. Works like a charm for me, much smoother than the standard mouse.

It does take some time to figure out Xpadder, I found the set up info they have a bit difficult to follow. Took me a few tries before I got it right. But now I use it all the time. It does work with hundreds of controllers, so you may have one on hand already. It costs $10.

I use a RAT 7 mouse (which is awesome) and the Logitech G13 control pad thing. There's a little joystick on the G13 which I use to fly around in Muvizu, and I've put the keys for timeline/lights/etc on there as well. Works for me

Thank you very much. As you probably know, I'm not a gamer as I didn't know of either of these. I'll give both a try n see which I like the best. Again thanks. And oh yes! I'll probably be back for more info...
