Posts: 362 		Hi team, with the increasing number of animations in the gallery, do you think its time for Muvizu TV?
I thought about this because a lot of users are watching animations in the gallery on a daily basis.
Do you think the gallery should be updated?, for example, I think because muvizu is about fun and creativity
How about an old fashioned TV set screen, with a remote control with a selection?
Say, Comedy drama Sci-Fi Movies Music.
I think this would look cool for the website, make it easier to browse, and more fun

Posts: 127 		Rekon they should keep the most recent first as they do at the moment as the first gallery page.

But I agree with the idea to offer selection by category also, if there was a "by category".

Although some do add tags, this can be inconsistent...

Personally would like a "Movie episodes" category for example where things like Ghost house etc are there as they are movie where new chapters are released over time...

Posts: 1988 		Those are both good suggestions I think - there are so many movies now that some re-organisation would seem necessary. Perhaps a new category on the main pages - 'Themed', or something like that. I think it should be up to Muvizu to decide what the categorisation of the movies should be, rather than the users themselves. I say that because it annoys me when people tell me that their movie is funny - I'll be the judge of that, sonny jim!!

Posts: 1988 		And after seeing how many music videos there are, and guessing how many there are still to come (waves of the blighters, I tellsya), there should be a Music Video category. Then maybe Short Films, Series, and Tests.

In a more practical vein, there really is a need to organise the gallery so that you have some kinda chance of finding one you'd like to see (again) but don't remember who it was by. And to give new users more of a chance of finding something they like, rather than having to randomly watch stuff off the lists. I suggest the following channels for Muvizu TV :

Music
Western
SciFi
Historical
Horror
Comedy
Jokes
Drama
Series
DIY (tutorials)


There's a lot of music videos, so it's a no brainer to have that.
It also makes sense, I think, that some of the other channels should follow the themes that Muvizu already has in-built.
I would have a Jokes channel to distinguish them from comedy, since comedy is subjective but jokes are a distinct thing (and quite short usually).
And series is for everything else that is mult-part.

Muvizuers could select the channel that suits their movie at the point when they upload, so it would organise itself in future. Any thoughts, people?

Parody Channel - good one, although couldn't that be covered by Comedy? Would we want sub-genres for the vids as well, or would it start to get a bit tricky to define their place? (like having Zombies or Vampires as sub-genres in Horror, or Parody, Slapstick, Satire, etc in Comedy?)

4- Thriller
5- Horror
6- Music
7- Kids
8- Documentary/Tutorials
9- Experimental Videos
