I find that Muvizu is rather limited to interactions. For the next version can we have more interactions such as swiming and cooking?

Hi wizplace,

Thank you for your feedback.
As Dreeko stated on the previous thread you created, we cannot develop animations for every user specific needs.

Usually there are ways to get around any limitations you may find - like swimming in Dreeko's video.
If you can't find a way to do it you can always contact your fellow "Muvizuers" and I'm sure at the end of the day an idea will come up to help you

Cheers,
Marco

Even if you need a video tutorial explaining how to do something (haven't done one of them in a while!)

yeap - limited like hell

for example in muvizu
you can not create the planned trajectory for camera
explaining that restriction of the directors methods in reality

but it does not give any additional tools for the camera
such as rail or crane as in real life
camera control - terribly inconvenient
(its need upgrade)

ps. and i want slow-motion
you know.. like in unreal engine..
("slomo exec function" for example.. in slider form..)

Let me put my villain mask on (pun intended) .

You guys know that we are still in beta and the development is still going right?

I'm going to give you an example, so you have an idea, how big our community is and therefore how many request we get.

I cannot reveal the exact numbers, but we have thousands of people that use Muvizu on daily/weekly basis. Now imagine those people sending us requests

Now more to the point, Camera movement has been improving and I'm sure there are plans to improve it even further.
As for slow motion, you can try using video editing software to work around it.

Muvizu is not a perfect software, such thing does not exist, but saying that it's limited like hell is not really fair. And fear not, we are still here and the development is still going.
I'm sure we are still able to surprise you.. in a good way I mean

Cheers,
Marco

Sure it's limited, but you need to play to it's strengths.

Excerpt from my co-writer (non-animator) after a script meeting...

He takes the files and lighting a lighter burns the file pages with a chuckle
or
he crawls along the passage, candle in hand.

Now this really isn't happening so we will write around it (how many times do I have to tell him!)

But as long as you know the restrictions there is plenty of scope for creativity.

"Muvizu is not a perfect software" but can be better
and this is make me sad for now

anyway im glad to hear that the program will improve

ps. i dont try say some bad things about Muvizu
its already good soft - i just want improvements
Thans you for your attention

add: slow-motion needed aditional frames
video editing software cant add a lot of this shots
(but unreal engine already have slow-motion function
i hope to see in future it will be used..)
this trick can add some drama in video :]

Slow Motion is relatively simple procedure... can be done with gimp, export Movie from Muvizu as Targa sequence, alter frame rate however the frame rate needs to vary for each frame to match the motion of the character. This is where the art of animation comes into the process.

Same goes for making a character eat or chew...output the Targa sequence from Muvizu and drop the sequence into Gimp (GAP the animation add on for Gimp provides a plug in to do this among other things) then drag the cheeks of your character about using the iwarp tool in gimp frame by frame....laborious but ultimately rewarding. There's never going to be an automatic make movie button and to be honest I would hate to have an automatic this or that in every aspect of making a movie, stifles originality, who said necessity the mother of invention?

Well, well...turns out it's something to do with Scotland! Richard Franck's Northern Memoirs, calculated for the meridian of Scotland, 1658 or there about. Canny folks these Scots!

Hey ScorpyX,

Don't get me wrong here. Your feedback is valuable to us

I was just trying to explain that we are still in beta and we are working hard to make this a better software for everyone.
Please don't stop sending us feedback. Without our community we wouldn't be here.

Like I wrote in the other thread, if you bump into some sort of problem stop by the forums. I'm sure someone will have an idea to help you solve it .

Cheers,
Marco
