Hell everyone, can anyone help me out?
I have problem generating my video
After Make Video I open the file and it shows error
I tried opeing with VLC/DIVX both dont work.
May I know what is the error?
My video is 20minutes
only 5 characters
Direct only with dialogue/movements and actions.
I dont understand what went wrong, is it to do with codec? I watch and read about it online but I'm so not good with such stuff. any kind soul to help?

Hi bloomblop,

Could you tell us the error message that is shown, and some details of what is actually wrong when you open the file? If you could also let us know your PC specs then that would be very useful too.

Thanks!

Bloombloop - if you are making a 20 minute video in one go then the file it needs to create will be too big. Try creating just a minute of it to see if that works. If it does then you will have to cut the video up and join it afterwards.

hello muvizu does not come with any fancy codecs. Most people are not aware but for companies to supply codecs they would have to charge a license fee to its users and since muvizu is free that is probably the issue with lack of codecs

I saw your post on your feed here is the answer to some of your questions

muvizu clips over 1 minute long give this message so you have 2 solutions

1) install a codec pack everyone recommends k-lite
http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm

2) record 1 minute long clips using what you have there and stitch them together. I am actually unsure if the k-lite let syou use longer clips because I use a codec I purchased with my HD webcam which only allows 1 minute long clips still

hopefully others will give more information.

Just to clarify, it's not that there's a time limit on clips (except the 20 minute one for Muvizu itself), it's just that any video you create that's over 2gb in size will give you problems when you try to play it or edit it (due to some arcane operating system restrictions). Using the highest quality codec (like iYUV) gives you movies of about 1gb for every 30 seconds, so (as urbanlamb said, and I also have to do all the bleedin' time) you will have to render out lots of little clips then stitch them together. Or you could drop the quality...but I'd advise against that. Looks rubbish

Ah thanks yeah its 2 gig I only know that I use pretty much uncompressed and the files are huge and to be honest with all the editing one tends to do its just better to have the highest quality possible. For me the codec that came with my webcam which was meant for HD recordings so the files are naturally huge give me great results. I then once I have assembled all the little bits use the covetted h264 avi to process the final product.
