Muvizu should run on a Vista machine, as long as the hardware meets the minimum specifications:

  • 2.4GHz processor
  • Nvidia 7800 GTX or ATI 1300 graphics card
  • 2.3GB free drive space

The only scene that was and is still not working in the new version was the Jungle Scene that gave the following error:

Posts: 164 		Hmmm - nice (well, not really).

The Jungle scene was taken out of the new release (though it may still be sitting on hard drives.) We'll look into that though, because old scenes should work. We've spent a lot of time making sure they do.

Besides problems with the light (I urgently need to watch more of these great tutorials !) I miss the backdrop that is shown in Borrowinds picture.

Which directly leads to my next question: where can I find additional textures when I get logged in from the program ? It seems there is no real difference whether I'm logged in or not ?

Sorry, if that's a stupid question, but I'm a bloody newbie !

Just for information ..I am able to run the program ..all be it in a rather kangaroo fashion with complex sets on my 4 year old laptop with the following specs

Toshiba A100 Laptop
Intel Dual Core CPU
T5500 @ 1.6GHz
2 GB of RAM
NVidia GeForce Go 7300
Windows XP service pack 3

HD takes rather a lot of patience though and I had an overheat shut down last week... all fun

Whenever I run Muvizu on my laptop I need to sit the rear corners of it on coasters so that it has proper airflow - the joys of mobile PC use.

Haha I think I will have to go and sit in the fridge for my next project LOL
