Random requests! Dreeko, I'd like to see a detailed tutorial on how you do this please, unless I missed it? I would definitely be using this facial animator feature....mmaybe Muvizu should incorporate a menu for this itself, that would be great! - Thanks!

Hi Colsim

No problem, I'm a little distracted at the minute (due to be a granddad tomorrow so everyone here is running around like blue ar....well I'm sure you get the picture), but if you send me some reference pictures of the type of scene you want I will have a look see. Reference images would be a good idea as the only interviews I've ever had were in various university and Brit Club bars.

Best regards
Tim

Help with VideoPad or Upload Issue - I think? HI TripFreak, I inserted .PNG files in both filmz, and I didn't actually set a time of 1 second, it just seemed like (in the editor) that 1 imagee lasted for a second or 2?...and when I rendered it out, it played on my pc and the image lasted onscreen for 1 or 2 seconds but once it was uploaded, watching it online it flashes by so quick you hardly (if at all) see it online. tripfreak wrote:
Hi EEFilmz,

since it was my recommendation I should probably try to answer you, although I don't know much much about your problem. dunno
For the first time we used the program during our holidays in the end of last year showing some vids to our friends at home on a "private trip website".

Example:

As you can see we inserted pics in the beginning and end for the titles and never experienced problems.
What kind of picture did you use ? Maybe the time (1 sec) was too short ?

Posts: 79Anyone ever have this problem? I had this happen in the credits using a still image in croozin cuzzinz, and also in the final shot in my most recent Powerlifting vid the "...BenchPress..." where any time I used a still image the file saves and plays correctly on my PC but once it's up on the internet that image flashes by so quick you barely see it!...wondering why that is...Kinda hard to judge how to tweak things when things are so off...help? - EEF

UPDATE: When I rendered it as a tga sequence (1st time I've done this), I noticed only 1 frame of the image, whichis probably why it flashed by online, BUT WHY does it play normally onmy pc when I rendered the file as an AVI? I mean, knowing this, HOW do you know for sure that wha you upload will play a full second or two onscreen unless you render every animation you ever do as a tga file and then re edit ? I have only run into this problem in the last couple of animations I did. Any help who uses videopad with muvizu if you have better tips or tricks please help me Thanks!

Keep getting this Fatal Error...any ideas? Thanks Marco, sorry I didn't reply right away, I actually tried deleting some items in the file a resaved it as something else, then I used that file and somehow it didn't crash after that. So I finished the animation which now is uploaded on your site. It was while I was working on the benchpress video. Thanks for your help if it happens again I will try to send you that file. - EEF

Yes, I think most of the time I was just changing my pov within the scene to get myself closer to what I'm working on, but it happened doing other movements too...like I used my scrollwheel to move my pov back farther and it crashed etc.. Marco_D wrote:
Hi EEF,

Can you please tell us what you are doing prior to the crash?
Like creating an object or backdrop?

Cheers,

How do you use those Biker Poses?...also more help That's funny Ziggy that's exactly what I had to do...lol...it was tough though, and the hardest part was (As always I am having trouble w/animating objects!) trying to move an object in that position is even harder - The object was the weights you modelled for me...you'll see the result of it all in World Champion PowerLifting For Seniors - The BenchPress Lesson 2, you have a credit in the end too; which I uploaded today on Muvizu, youtube, twitter. The end result wasn't the greatest but I think it kinda worked. Also, as a note, I found out the problem as to why the font is so small when I made those films about weightlifting - I am using videopad and in the editor the preview it doesnt look as small in the frame as it is actually output in the animation....so now I know when I do the last of the series I have to make it bigger still. Another problem I'm having in Videopad now it seems like whenever I throw a still photo in there it flashes on the screen for like a microsecond in the output that is uploaded but not the one saved on my pc, it did that for Dyllyd image in Croozin Cuzzinz, and it did it at the end of my latest one uploaded World Champion PowerLifting For Seniors - The BenchPress Lesson 2.

One word for you EEF - trickery. I would build the set around the standing character, making sure to rotate everything 90 degrees so that it looks like he's lying down (you can't rotate the character, but you can rotate all the objects). Use your animations, then rotate the whole picture 90 degrees the other way to achieve the effect. You can rotate the whole image by setting up a camera, creating a backdrop showing that camera's output, rotate the backdrop, then film that with another different camera - hope that makes sense

How do you use those Biker Poses?...also more help I would like to know how to use the biker poses etc...because I see some movements that could be useful for other things too, but I have only previewde those actions and the character jumps from facing one way to facing another as he does the movement - kinda confusing. In a related issue here, I am trying like hell to get my character to benchpress some weight....I cannot get it!...the timing of the weight is too slow at its fastest for the pose of thrusting hips which wouldve been perfect, and just all the logistics of it is not working out, you have to do it inverted sideways with everything up against the wall because the character cannot be horizontal....it's very tough, I've been trying to 2 days straight and can't seem to come up with a workable solution...any ideas?? Thanks! - EEF

omg I'm havin a brain Fart...I forgot.. YES! thats was exactly how i did it before now you reminded me, I have to ADD it first, then it'll show up in the list, then go to prepare...Thank You MARCO! 8) - EEF

Hi EEF

I think you are looking at animating character properties. After adding the effect to the character go to Prepare - character properties.

a) On the attachment drop down menu, select the effect.
b) Then on the track drop down menu select intensity.
c) Change the don't animate property to animate.

You can set it to zero and then animate the effect's intensity during the recording process.

I hope this helps.

Cheers,
Marco

omg I'm havin a brain Fart...I forgot.. How to (in mid-animation) have the full-Fart effect on and off on a character in shots in a scene? I DID this myself a month ago! and now I forgot how I did it! Because it's not in the character properties area, it's in the effects of the character...I want him to initially not be farting, ad then farting (w/smoke) and for the life of me I forgot how the heck I did that a month ago!...Help! lol
