Just installed today's latest release. Invisible does not work properly for me with this release.
Only part of the character is invisible. Hair, ears stay visible.

Any suggestions?

yes it seem as visible/invisible is broke....

you can still make the bits that stay visible invisible via the character edit for that attachment. a bit of a pain until its fixed but workaroundable.

I've found a couple of other bugs, so I made a thread for them

It's even stranger for the newer characters as just their heads are invisible

Hi guys, I just downloaded a new version of Muvizu but now I can't open any file. I get this message: ''fatal error! address + 0x803c80bb (filename not found) (in C:/Muvizu Play/Binaries64/Muvizu.dll)'' and similar. What should I do? Thanks!

Try re-installing muvizu with all the boxes at the end ticked (.net framework etc)

Have you downloaded the 32 bit version or 64 bit? Also, always download the Full version not the Lite one (avoids problems down the line).

64 bit. Full version. I have no idea what could be the problem. I just upgraded the software in the first place and then it stopped working. It worked properly before I upgraded ...

SAY WHAAAAAT?!! We've only been waiting for more than 4 cameras since... forever. Muvizu HQ, this is bigger news than the render layers - please start issuing change logs!!

Glad you like the latest version. Lots more to come in the following months.

Would anyone benefit from a Stereoscopic camera for 3D movies?

I'm not sure I would use it too much, but it would definitely have a novelty factor - I've always wanted to try editing 3d videos, but Muvizu has limits currently regarding number of cameras (well, ok, maybe not so much now) and the lack of possibility to move them together.

Love to, but I've only done so once out of about a dozen tries. The server always times out on the Full version Which is immensely frustrating. But *sigh*, I'll try again. Makes me feel like a crazy person or a Republican -- trying the same things over and over, expecting different results....

This seems related to the dll issue.
Try using a download manager to download the installer - it should solve these problems: http://www.muvizu.com/Wiki/wiki/64/troubleshooting-download-managers

You say that now, but...

Given your sets are quite err... heavy (as an understatement) you should be able to get a bit of a speed boost from this. Generally, put all your background stuff into layers - and then hide them when working with foreground characters. Should remove lag and such like. You don't just have to use them for rendering out...

Also, from a development point of view upping the number of cameras was a simple change - the render layers - quite a bit harder to do.

Hello,

If you haven't already - put a support ticket in. The thing that catches my attention here is the install path, have you not installed it to the root of C? Was that deliberate? Just wondering if that's related to the problem...
