Hi All,

Its a vary basic quest. Plz let me know how to make a man fly from one spot to another.

Is it possible to make him spin around an object? cos i found it odd to do so.. I tried a lot to make him move from one spot to another in air and spin around an obj and land on it.

Thanks in advance,

Regards,
J D

You will have to animate the camera movement in a green screen set to give the illusion that the flying character is moving then key out the green in an editing package such as sony vegas and overlay the footage on top of the background video you wish to use.

Different modes of character movement would be great (flying, driving etc) and the ability to have some of the larger objects as accessories (cars, planes, helicopters etc) would allow the little guys to travel in the appropriate vehicle.

How about it?

You can actually create a very good-looking flight scene without green screen, using nothing but Muvizu. I'm in the middle of making a quick How-To video on the matter, though I may not be able to finish that today so for anyone in a rush here's a quick guide:
-----
1) Create the scene in Muvizu you wish for your character to be flying through, but do not put your character in the scene yet. Just make the background.
2) Go to Direct > Camera Movement and record your camera moving from left to right across the front of your scene (using the "D" key to move the camera, instead of the mouse, for smoothness).
3) "Make Video" and render out an AVI of your scene with just a camera moving left to right. This will provide the background for your character to fly in front of.
4) Go to File > New and create a new scene in Muvizu.
5) In this new scene, go to Create > Objects > Backdrops and put in a new "Super-Wide" object.
6) Now create your superhero character and place them in front of the Super-Wide object, performing the "Flying On Spot (Looped)" character action.
7) Right-click the Super-Wide object and use your AVI file from earlier as the texture for this object.
-----
Voilà! One flying superhero! Well, a superhero floating stationary against a moving backdrop, but that's movie magic for ya! If you're confused then hang tight for the aforementioned tutorial I expect to put up either today or tomorrow - it really is very straightforward and easy to do.

I do both of these methods and dont have a huge issue making my superhero fly but I agree with dreeko I would of course like to have my characters drive a car or fly an airplane among other things. I figure it never hurts to ask lol

Thanks a lot Dreeko, Lev_Dynamite

U guys have given a valuable inputs, i tried it and BAM ... Cool results of course...

Oh ya Dreeko is rite.. cool mr. Dreeko... u solved how to make a char ride a bike.. Thanks buddy.

But guys , I found a cool way with trail and error to make a super hero literally fly from one spot to another... Enjoy and follow these steps and u can find it really useful some days...

1) create and custom ur super hero.
2) Now select ur hero and prepare for char actions, select "fly start" and "flying on the spot"
3) Now first direct the char actions, select fly start and before that sequence ends select fly on the spot, keep loopin it for some time.
4) Now here comes the weird part: Direct your char movement. Select ur char in movement normal mode and drive him to a spot where u want. U can find ur hero running on the ground in a weird action. DON BOTHER.. next step answers every thing.
5) Now do cntrl-z (undo) : this will remove the char movement from the time line but not the spots.
6) Now rewind to the start and play ur demo version. BAM : ur char flies from one spot to other..

Its tested and works.. Have some cool effects like mild strom to make it look so realistic. Also have two three cams to capture the scene in long shot, lookin up from the ground, and a close look...

I did a lot of trial and error to finally achieve this loop hole..

Try it out and enjoy guys.. Hope i can see more super hero vids hence forth..

Please let me know in case of any issues... i ll try my best Cool

Once again thanks a lot friends, really helpful...

Hi jayadeava - the sound's still not great but I did pickup up enough to see that you've found a very useful bug - good one! Now, if we could only get him to fly in a curved line as well...
