Phew - and I was just thinking about upgrading to Windows 10 - I don't think I will bother until it is all sorted.

It's all good Brian,

I've done everything imaginable on this end. I'm all good with the techie stuff as far as drivers and software go. I've reverted, reinverted, reinvented and even stood on my head I think to make this work again, less of course reverting back to Win7. Not something I'm up to doing at the moment.

It's not just other software conflicts in my machine. The calls inside the program are not finding the core files for the program and I think many are seeing the same problem here..

If some folks could confirm they're all getting the same errors I did, I'd be more inclined to think there's something that got miscoded in the last upgrade fix. (ie. an extra colon or comma or a line or two of code accidentally got deleted before compiling perhaps)

I'm sure it will be figured out. Unless there's something Win10 is doing that the program guys didn't see coming.

For the most part, if you take care of your file structures and software updates on your machine, you'll love Win10. It IS still in beta, and don't force an upgrade until MS tells you your machine is ready. They're partitioning the upgrades to machines they have a good handle they should work with.

Again, most OS upgrades fail because the machine isn't ready. If you want to use Muvizu regularly, wait until they get a stable version that works with Win10, wait another month, then try it out. You have a month to revert back to your previous OS.

I agree Windows 10 is really good. All my computers run it and I've installed on over two dozen for my neighbors with no problems. Muvizu will be good soon. For those who have work to do can use the last stable release of Muvizu. It does work with Windows 10. But head what MrDrWho13 said about reverting back to Windows 7/8.1. You have 30 days before those files are deleted by the OS. So keep track of time. I do have the last stable release if anyone needs it.

Here's what I've discovered now...Brian's advice helped me on my laptop w/windows10 but only for a little bit, again now I get the fatal error until I repeat the processof reverting it back to directx-9, so that's great but not a permanent fix. Next, I've been on the phone w/Microsoft the last few days because while windows 10 upgraded from w7hm easily on my laptop, it upgraded corrupt on my pc w/w7pro...and was a mess, so
1. Brian helped me w/the laptop, then
2. I contacted Microsoft, we worked on my PC remotely, I used the Microsoft Tool to create an ISO file on a New USB Flashdrive making the flashdrive a bootable drive with a FRESH windows 10 OS on it(it took 4 hours exactly), continuing next day...
3. I thought about it overnight and decided F it, CLEAN INSTALL this time(I KNEW I had Everything already backed up on my external drive and other flash drives).

Now I have a Fresh Clean Windows10 Pro on my PC that works! Still have to reinstall programs etc.. I figure I'll redownload and install MuvizuPlay+(yes I have the paid version), and I'll have to copy and paste the key again from email, but I wonder if I should just wait until Muvizu has a viable Windows 10 update or should I just do it now?? ALSO WHEN is this W10 Update going to be Muvizu? And PLEASE make it backwards compatable, because I have Favorite Sets, Favorite Characters, Favorite Models, ETC...that I absolutely NEED and cannot recreate from scratch...cannot afford to lose all my creations! lol...AS of right now I'm testing things(EVERYTHING) out on my upgraded laptop before I do much of anything on my PC. MyBiggest fear is a Malware infestation againlike I had before so I am fiercely trying to figure out which security I will be using on ALL MY MACHINES..and am paranoid about downloading Codecs but I do NEED them again now. I no longer have H264.H265, Xvid doesn't work on windows 10...So not sure what I'lldo there yet...ANyway that's my update...Any Help, tips, Answers to my questions greatly appreciated Thanks!....

EE - I use Webroot AV (www.webroot,com) for my anti-malware. When I used McAfee and Sophos I used to have to perform a clean up about once a month. I swapped all the PCs I look after (around 700) to Webroot some 4-5 years ago and I think I have only done 1 in that time. Plus the overhead on the PC is tiny compared to the big names.

I should add - I do not work for Webroot !

BitDefender would be my second choice.

Malwarebytes is quite popular but as far as I know you also need an antivirus with regular checks. (Avg/avast etc)

I would still advise not downloading codecs unless you trust the site 100%.
Why not render in tga and chuck it together in a video editor?

As for Muvizu updates, I'd say it's a bit more than a few weeks away, and is almost certain to be backwards compatible.
